Here we go again! NOAA recently moved up Florida's commercial shark fishing season to coincide with when migratory species will pass through, potentially wiping most of them out. Now Louisiana Fish And Wildlife has decided to up their 2016 non-sandbar shark limit up from 36 to 45! The Non-Sandbar Large Coastal Sharks group includes great hammerhead, scalloped hammerhead, smooth hammerhead, nurse, blacktip, bull, lemon, silky, spinner and tiger sharks.

TAKE ACTION: Please speak up for sharks and send an e-mail to jadriance@wlf.la.gov or call 504-284-2032.
